Centre Albertain d’Information Juridique (Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Alberta)
The Centre provides legal information to help you understand your rights and the justice system in Alberta. The Centre cannot provide legal advice. This service is for Francophone Albertans.
Family Court Assistance (Government of Alberta)
This free government program connects you to family court counsellors who can help you prepare for and access the court system. This program is mandatory for anyone in Edmonton or Calgary who does not have a lawyer and is going to the Court of Justice or the Court of King’s Bench.
Child Support Recalculation Program (Government of Alberta)
This free government program can update the amount of child support a parent must pay based on their income. To access services, you must have an order or agreement about child support.
Child Support Resolution Program (Government of Alberta)
This free government program helps parents reach an agreement about financial support for their children and get a court order for support. This service is only available in Edmonton and Calgary.
