Family Court Assistance (Government of Alberta)
This free government program connects you to family court counsellors who can help you prepare for and access the court system. This program is mandatory for anyone in Edmonton or Calgary who does not have a lawyer and is going to the Court of Justice or the Court of King’s Bench.
Indigenous Courtwork Program (Native Counselling Services of Alberta)
Court workers in courthouses across Alberta provide free services to Indigenous people. Services include information about court and Children’s Services investigations and referrals to other support programs.
