Edmonton Community Legal Centre (ECLC)
This free service helps you to navigate the family justice system and provides legal information and referral on all areas of family law. ECLC serves Edmonton and area and northern Alberta. Those who are financially eligible will have access to free 30 to 45-minute legal advice coaching appointments with a volunteer lawyer.
Student Legal Services (SLS)
Law students can give you legal information about issues under the Family Law Act. They can also review your uncontested divorce application at their Do-Your-Own Divorce Clinics or represent you as an agent in the Alberta Court of Justice. Whether you are eligible for services also depends on your income.
